THE PROCEDURE

• Hair grows in three stages:  Anagen (growth), Cantagen (dormant/regression) and Telogen (resting/shedding)
• Hair must be in the growth stage during treatment, this is why Laser Hair Removal requires several sessions.  All follicles are not in the same stage at the same time.  Also, stages can last anywhere from 2-6 months prior to reaching the growth stage 
• laser can effectively treat your concerns in a safe and predictable manner
• You will be asked to shave 24 hours prior to your scheduled treatment
• The laser is triggered to pulse for a fraction of a second.  The hair follicle is heated and destroyed, impairing its ability to regrow hair

THE RECOVERY

• There is no downtime to be expected from this procedure
• You may notice some redness, or tenderness.  This will resolve quickly

THE RESULT

• You will notice that significantly less hair grows back after each treatment
• 4-6 treatments are to be expected
• Depending on your skin type and hair color, permanent hair removal can be expected.  Those with less than optimum qualifications will notice permanent hair reduction
